I don't need you to fill me in on things.
You can win if you don't score.
ask the devils, sabres, Bruins
I am well aware of what team D is. but this D is there to eliminate the extra pressure on suspect goaltending and unless you are going to spend money to upgrade the nets, you need to keep this "great" D around. - nails
What did the Devils, Sabres, and Bruins win last year? If the Bruins could score, the Flyers wouldn't have gone to the finals.
If you well aware of what team D is, then why are so focused on the defenseman? This team is able to withstand the loss of a Dman far more easily than the loss of Carter.
Unless you've got something new here, I'm done discussing this with you. |

And your assuming that the team would be better if they move Carter. Which you don't know. And your assuming that they can withstand the loss of Carter, which you don't know. And your assuming that a player won't waive his clause. Which you don't know. I can go on if I need to. - MJL
please, go on.
Yes, I assume that a TEAM can withstand the loss of one player. If they can't, then they aren't a good team.
I assume they won't waive because they don't have to.
You make it sound, every time, like I WANT to trade Carter. I don't want to trade Carter. I am merely offering an option that will maintain a strong team on the ice, keep the D that protects our sub par goaltender, and doesn't require the hypothetical waive of a movement clause.
The only thing you offer is the assumption that a guy who doesn't need to waive his clause will do so so that we can keep a guy who has scored 40 goals once. |

LOL. No that's not the only thing I offer.
Every statement you've made on this subject is a hypothetical. And hypotheticals not based on sound logic.
And if a team can withstand the loss of one player, why can't that player be a defenseman. Like you said, if they can't then they aren't a good team. You contradict yourself.
Like I said, if you don't have anything new to offer, I'm done here. |
