More proof that dogs are better than people. My neighbour has a dog with some sort of hip issue and needs one of those carts attached to its butt and it's the friendliest dog ever. You'd never know it had an issue.
Contrast that with a chick I worked with a few months ago who claimed she got carpal tunnel syndrome from a fender bender and actually got disability.

Probably not... It's pretty rare for diseases to jump species.

Btw, dogs can get canine papilloma virus, especially when they're pups, and especially if they play in dog parks on the regular... But for the most part it's harmless, just nasty looking. Also, doesn't transmit to humans.

I think that article might be going overboard with the cancer part. Papilloma virus can cause cancer, but it isn't cancer itself, just warty nastiness.

Edit: upon further reading, it's more serious than the canine version, but can still resolve itself.

Yerp. We were lucky with chinook, he only had 5 of those. Dogs can get hundreds of them at a time. His were pretty big though, the ones that grow in the hundreds are smaller.
