Exactly so it's a mexican standoff, throw in Kyle Rayner as Ion and Hal Jordan as Parallax to the list as well. Really you could add thousands of comic book characters who at one time or the other have been raised to unreal standards for a situation or two. That's why these characters have to disappear, they are too powerful for the universe and are generally used to clean up continuity errors (or create them).

Asmodel is an angel or some such thing isn't he? I really don't like mixing my gods and superheroes they should be seperate and distinct. I really never read Thor for that reason.

As far as Forge and a power ring, they basically did it in a crossover already when they gave Starke the ring and made Iron Lantern.
