I have the feeling this is just starting with emelin. As much as Montreal likes to think it is, this isn't Europe. Going to seek retribution with dirty play, you now have a bullseye. Don't need ulfie 2.0

New guy to hate. Not sure how a guy can throw an obvious dirty hit and not expect a guy to come back on him. The puck was 80 feet away. Nice turtle job too... They will say he had his face reconstructed and cant fight....and now I can see why that happened in the first place. If you want to throw cheap hits 80 feet away from the puck....expect a fight. wussy.

Malone kind if hit him from behind to start the video so that is where it starts. Emelin is a physical player not a fighter.

Emelin kind of hit Thornton in the same fashion a week prior. I understand he's "not a fighter" but it's an emotional game and if you're going to run a guy in a vunerable position get ready to have to defend yourself. Its the NHL.

i really have a problem with the logic of non fighters not having to fight. it is part of the game. if he's going to play on edge he's going to have to answer the bell. otherwise don't seek retribution through illegal hits or taper down the physical / questionable play.

This not a fighter routine is a crutch guys like Ulf, Kasparaitis and even Scott Stevens have used to a certain degree through the years and its total BS.
