got hammered one night with my friends, was supposed to stay over his house...i hate sleeping at other peoples houses
tried to crash at his place, wasn't happening
get in the car like a moron, hit the curb on the way out of his development
get on the parkway and a minute or two later i feel a wobble
hmmm
i give it a minute, doesn't get better so i pull over (major highway, usually tons of cops and i am hammered)...go and look at the tire, yup..it's flat
pull hockey bag out of the trunk, take out fix a flat
put fix a flat on, push button, toad gets hit in face with fix a flat that shoots out of the tire that has next to zero sidewall left
toad makes decision to try and get home...12 more miles on the highway..late at night..summer, hammered
if i waited for someone i was screwed..hammered
so, back in the car, few minutes later the noise starts...hmm, can't be good
ka klonk ka klonk
that stops...now the screeching starts...awesome
i look in the rearview and sparks shooting out the back like i was the (frank)ing space shuttle re- entering the atmosphere
hmmm, coming up to the speed trap on parkway..awesome
somehow no cops see this (frank)ing light show
2 more miles till home
up and down a big hill, i get to the top at the end of it and look back..ball of rubber in the middle of the road on fire...remnants of the tire :O
i make it home, wake up at noon the next day
mom asks what the hell happened
"got a flat tire"
the rim makes the story, without the pic people don't get how (frank)ed up that ride was
and no, i don't drive like that anymore

Well, I have a FANTASTIC drunk-driving story but it ain't as good as that one. 12 miles on a parkway on the rim. Like ya said tho, zero choice, man's gotta do what he's gotta do.
Just saw the statue on the tube, which has more personality than the actualy guy.
Every time i see that Penguins team raise the cup in that 20 year old video, i get really pissed off. more so than any other team i see raise the cup. - bruinsbeer69
