Miller, Cohen, and Trotman (not listed) are big bodies.
Krug, Warsofski, and Bodnarchuk (if he's back) are smurfs.
Button, Cross, and Bartkowski are somewhere in-between.

It just ain't right that the big dudes have little guy names and vice versa.

Krug, Warsofsky and Bodnarchuk sounds like a classic badass linebacking corps.

I've haven't seen Morrison play yet ... Will be curious to see Hutch in front of a semi-competent D corps. He has looked god-awful at times, but has been hung out to dry at the same time. He did look better at the end of the season, though, which was somewhat encouraging since he had really nowhere to go but up. I still don't think he'll ever be NHL material, though.

Guys making the jump will depend on who gets re-signed in Boston ... MacDermid is ready for a 4th line NHL role. I could see Arneil as a 3rd liner, even though he had a bad season in Providence. No top-line talent ready to make the leap yet. Spooner looks like he needs to get stronger, but the skill is there. Haven't seen much of Knight this year, so I'm not sure about him ... Bus as for the Providence guys, MacD and Arniel are the 2 guys I'm looking at.

On D, I think Miller is getting close to being an NHL-worthy guy. Trotman looked servicible as well, as did Krug. The great Tommy Cross did not impress in his 2 games with Providence, but I'll be curious to see him more next season.

In goal, Khudobin is definitely ready to be in the NHL full-time. We're just not going to have a spot for him, so it may be best to trade him to someone who does. The "trade Timmy and go with Khudobin as backup" talk is (frank)ing retarded ... Re-sign his ass to a new contract is more like it. Guy is money.

Start transitioning him to be the #1?

I'm not sold on Tuukka yet ... On the other hand, I am sold on Thomas and I can't think of anyone I'd rather have around in case Tuukka's transition to #1 goes awry.

So start transition next year.

Give Tuukka the heavier load and see how he does.....then, best man plays in the playoffs.

I can live with that ... See how it goes next season and then make the major decisions.

But no way in hell I want Timmy traded this summer.

i can't imagine tuukka getting a huge contract this summer. he'll probably do a 2 year deal around 2.5 per. borat is still under for another year but is a UFA after next year so they'll have to make a decision on him.

we have 3 good goalies, two are under 26. excellent problem to have

You refering to Julien when he recently shut down Hunter's claim that the B's are headhunting? Or to Bergeron when he basically said linemates don't matter when interviewed by Gresh & Zo yesterday?

I would get on the horn with Doug Wilson and offer the Sharks a deal that includes Marchand for Brent Burns.
