O'Brien or Babchuk would be good. McCabe is in similar class to Souray so that would be ok on the cheap. Lots of 2nd/3rd pairing depth...

Every passing day where Kaberle goes unsigned, the wood in Chiarelli's pocket grows ever so slightly
Just say no to Raymond ...... |

I always thought that would be a good way to go as a GM. Wait around for the 2nd wave, and pick up some core pieces as a discount.
Some of the money yesterday was just retarded |

I'd have liked that one
Lets just sit it out then before we get another Hab. |

I'd like to see him with Peverley and Kelly. Good honest players who play a 200 foot game. Hopefully it rubs off on that lazy (frank). If he scores 15 goals it's prob a good deal at a mil I just hate his face. |

You know Jack Edwards will have to address his accurate comments at some point.
BTE, I'm sure Marchand is drunk and shirtless somewhere today.
Maybe Harvard can sign him when he's wasted and get a deal |

Gonna take some getting used to, that's for sure ...
That said, the guy does possess a ton of talent and potential and if Chiaclooooeely can get that out of him, this signing will prove to be another Chiarelli darkhorse steal ....
Worst case, he sucks and is even demoted to Providence ... and is off the books before we need to re-up anyone next summer.
Not a whole lot to lose here .... |

Hey, a high school friend of mine in Florida just facebooked me 10 minuites ago and said he just bumped into Horton and his kids at a park along the coast. I asked if his hot wife was there, just for you, and he said she was
He also said Horton was a super nice guy.

Connelly to Toronto, that is (frank)ing priceless.
Now that it's done, Richards doesn't do a lot for me, Rags can have him. He needs talent around him, not going to elevate average guys.
Caps: Let me get this straight -- Swap out an at-best average starting goalie for an above-average one at 1.5 mil AND get a 1st and a 2nd to boot?? WTF??
Best switcheroo in the cap era by a (frank)ing mile. |

Pouliot's actually a pretty good sign imo, considering they apparently aren't gonna go for a blue-chipper up front. I'd personally would've rather seen an Asham type if they were going small $, we're a little shy on mean. Could very well put up huge dollar-for-dollar numbers tho. No complaints.
The big question yet to be answered. |

... and oh yeah Marchand, much as I love his game, needs to stop being a complete douche off the ice. Some of that sh!t is just too embarrassing. If you're doing stuff in public that an average human being would want to stab you over then it's gone too far. |
