I would think so, unless the right trade presents itself ...

I still want Yandle, especially at his new contract figure

- JEFF SPICOLI

I think we all have a yandle boner but I doubt we see him in a B's uni anytime soon. Could be 5 years and ufa wait...

Take it back. Hate to be a hab hating nerd here but mid-late 70s is the start of the Habs douche era IMO. Still respect the talent then but douche patches start to emerge, which did not exist at the time of the dynasties of the 50s and 60s.

Tremblay - Closer to being Clod Lemieux douche than Lapierre douche but douche nonetheless
Gainey - Yellow-belly sap sucking douche
Riseborough - Rat wannabe douche
Lupien - More goofy than douche, still qualifies
Larouche - Did not mind him but even Habs eventually thought he was a douche.

Maybe I'm just romanticizing a different era but to me when Jean Beliveau retired he basically retired the Hab respect era of Plante, the Richards, Moore, Harvey, Johnson, Geoffrion, Bouchard, etc. Fontinato and Bonin were more sh!t disturbers/fighters than douches. Sorta like Leo Labine for The B's, Brad Marchand's ancestor. The doucheness has been everpresent in Mtl since the 80s and growing for the past three decades. This ain't just a 5-10 year thing.

meh...I just think the last 10 years or so the Habs have annoyed me way more than they did back then...always have hated them, but I just dont recall the diving BS that has been evident over the past few years...

I actually have more of a hate on for the Canucks these days...comes with living in BC and listening to all hype and poop..

The crew right before these bumholes were my least favorite. I could always respect Koivu the way I can Gionta but Zednik pissed me off.... Komisarek was the biggest douche to wear a Habs uni in some time...Lapierre, the list goes on.

Yep - the same for me. They're approaching respectability with guys like Moen, Gill, Gionta (Pernell, Price, Tits, Darchebag still holding them back). But the 10 years prior Komisarek, Kovalev, Ribeiro, Lapierre are all very high on my Habs sh!t list.

His cap mismanagement kinda sucks, and he loves injured players, but aside from the Kaberle deal....and maybe Bochinski(although, Versteeg has moved around a ton) he does very well at trades. Maybe one of the best in the league.

This is such an afterthought, but hey, Carl Soderberg......F@CK YOU! We WON THE CUP!

Sounds like Cantin may wind up being a big steal ... undrafted UFA.
