BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has signed defenseman Adam McQuaid to a three-year contract extension through the 2014-15 season. The team also signed forward Craig Cunningham to an entry level contract and defenseman Zach McKelvie to a one-year contract. Per club policy, financial terms of these deals will not be disclosed.

McKelvie is definitely a guy to keep an eye on ... 6'2" 200 lb dman, won the fastest skater comp at the Frozen Four in '09. Signed here previously but couldn't proceed with his hockey career due to U.S. Army contractual obligations.

Could end up being somewhat of a diamond in the ruff ...
