I'm not all that concerned about it, I've always expected he'll be in camp and until it drags on past that I'm fine with it. Like Toad says, its not like he has a tonne of options.
Side note: You ever played any Egnater gear? I've got an Orange Dual Terror that I'm not super happy with and am looking at the Egnater Tweaker as an alternative. - Double_A
I am not too familiar actually. Although I have extensive experience with Orange products as they have become all the rage the past few years with Indie artists(mostly for good reason) I havent had the oppurtunity to experiement with very much Egnater gear whatsoever to give you any kind of opinion. |

Brad Marchand's agent, Wade Arnott, said that "nothing is imminent" regarding contract negotiations with the Boston Bruins.
He said that discussions remain open and ongoing, but when was asked if Marchand will be signed before training camp he replied, "[I'm] hopeful, but it's no sure thing." There appears to be a gap on what his value is after he enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2010-11 in his first full season in the NHL. It is being speculated that the Bruins want to give him a two-year deal at $2.5 million per season, but Marchand's camp is seeking a four-year deal in the $12 million range. We'll keep you posted.

I'm fine with it.....maybe for 3, not 4.
3 million per for him....unless he turns into Ken Hodge JR. or Dmitri
Kvar-ksfvbvfkjfkjdvlewoi7erm4p-tolnov, then it's a deal. |

If he continues to improve or even stay consistent 3 mm is ok. Prefer a little less as next year is big for rfa and ufa on the team |

He had a great playoff run but its pretty costly for a potential flash in the pan(not that I think he will be). I like to see a guy score 20 at least twice before I give him a four year deal at a pretty decent rate.
Keep in my the kid had some pretty decent linemates and good for him to making the best out of it. If he wants $3m it would only be a one year deal for me, $2.5m I would do three. I know its only 500k but that adds up if you overpay, even a little with half the roster. |

"Old friend Petteri Nokelainen is proving that you can occupy two cap spots for the same employer. Nokelainen was wheeled by the Bruins to Anaheim for Steve Montador in 2009, then later dealt to the Coyotes, who bought him out at the conclusion of 2009-10. Nokelainen spent last year in his native Finland, and this past spring, his old employer came calling again. On May 20, the ex-Bruin signed a one-year, $550,000 contract with the Coyotes. “The plan was to play a year in Finland, and then come back,’’ said Bill Zito, Nokelainen’s agent, in an e-mail. “Who knew it would be the same team?’’ Last year, Nokelainen recorded 11 goals and 16 assists (along with a team-high 116 penalty minutes) for Jokerit Helsinki of the Finnish Elite League. What makes his situation unusual is that Phoenix will be carrying his buyout number ($158,334, according to capgeek.com) along with his $550,000 salary on its 2011-12 books. Nokelainen is the only player in the NHL currently on the roster of a team that bought him out" |

When is he eligible for UFA? If 4 years buys a year or 2 of FA then its not so bad. At least it doesn't sound like they're too far apart. |

I'm not sure yet ... I leave tonight and get in tomorrow. I know that as of now, there is still no power / telephone service since I can't get through to my neighbor .....
I have some giant trees in my yard as well, so hopefully they survived ... |

Yo beat me to it.
It looks like he's developing Man boobs.....in fairness to him, that can be one of the side effects of testosterone therapy, which he has probably been on since he lost his nut. |
