We've got lots of fringe guys ... Wouldn't be surprised to see some of them traded in the upcoming year. Arniel is the perfect example ... He reminds me of Nate Thompson, but our 4th line is already jammed up.

Agreed. Lots of bottom 6 forwards and bottom 2-3 d pairings too. Cohen, Bartowski, Vlabalik and Kampfer being the best prospect

I see Savard coming back for some reason. I just see him giving it one more kick at the can. Selanne would be an amazing pick up which would bring our goal scoring up and make our power play SO much better. He would have to take a discount and if he wants to win a Cup he should. Pitkanen can be had for 4 million and would also help our power play woes.

This is my "dream" line up... and I am sure it will stay a dream. Who knows though?

I like both trades for Philly.
They get younger and shed some dressing room cancer at the same time. They also get a 1st rounder with the #8 pick that should bring them some much needed top end depth.
They have traded away so many 1st rounders that eventually it will catch up to you.
It also gives guys like JVR and Giroux an opportunity to take more of a leadership role.

I think the Bryz deal is ridiculous and reeks of Homer having panicked.
I like Bryz but that term and $$ is stupid.
Vokoun is a better goalie if you wanted to go that route.

They could have picked up a # 1 for cheaper as a stop gap and brought Bob along...
