Saw Tappan on NHL between periods of the Leafs/Flyers game.
Her hair looked nice. - bruinsbeer69
She still dressed like a (frank)ing Quaker? |

Yeah ... Both definitely looking good.
Hamilton's smoothness, both in passing and skating, also standing out to me.
Seguin looking like he's gotten faster.
Poulliot not really doing anything for me... Took a lazy penalty in the 1st |

Every time the announcers say that kid "Zubinijab's" name, I think of the president of Iran
Kadri help smuggle this kid into the league or what? |

Why does Jodey Shelley still have a job in this league? What a piece of sh!t.
Just caught the last little bit of the game. 2U's looked good. Macdermid looks like another #22 in the making. Seguin seemed to be skating well and he made a nice play to make a centering feed that couldn't get finished off. Chuck Bartowski looked alright to me. No one else really jumped out. |

10 games ... SET THE PRECEDENT, SHANNY
The guy with 17 last names on the Flames got 5 games...
No (frank)ing around in the disciplinary office this year. About time ... One thing Shanny is doing is putting out video explanations explaining the suspensions. Here's LeBlond's:

Cant wait to see Shelley's .... |

shanny taking this over is reminiscent of the changing of the guard in chicago and yzerman taking over in tampa
neither did anything extraordinary in my eyes but they didn't (frank) anything up
they used common (frank)ing sense and in one instance (tampa) brought some stability and wirtz's son got all sorts of credit for taking the hawks out of the stone age that his father had them in
i'm glad shanny is doing this, most have been begging for this for years and it will just add to how needlessly (frank)ed up it has been prior to him
the league is not above being questioned and now at least everyone, players included..will know what the (frank) is going on |

Shanahan was such a dirty F-*k out there when he wasn't floating by the blueline or demanding a trade to a better team. Him being in charge of punishment is hypocritical....will he do a better job than Colon........it would be hard not to, but I still don't like him

agree 100%...never liked him....always struck me as a self promoter...i think what could happen here is going over the top on suspensions and he will be seen as some sort of saviour...and he will just love the attention...media will suck this up...guaranteed.... |

Yeah
With him in charge, Ference probably gets a 15 game suspension for telling the Montreal fans that they were #1.
He's going to go over the top to make a statement....kind of like being a boss and firing somebody on the first day, or getting into a fight on your first day in prison.......he's always been a D-bag who thinks he's better than everybody else and the rules the apply to him. |

It'll be interesting to see how the season plays out once we get some non-scrubs involved in incidents. Actually describing the rationale behind every decision, what a novel (frank)ing concept. He's off to a good start, and, as long as he doesn't go over board like you guys have stated is a definite possibility, he's off to a solid start at least.
For the record Shanahan was always one of my favorite non-B's. |

Anyone is an upgrade over colon.
Both hits were suspendable and most importantly unnecessary |
|
|
|
Shelley's was suspendable. Risk that the new board rule chills/phases out rinkside body contact altogether, i.e. attempt to minimize and avoid, hmm, let me think, you know what, don't even go there/do it anymore. Risk is we get creep and see an increased number of hitless games. Anyone catch that one-hit yawner Bos-Ott, all very clean. Need a video for that: "Today, for yet another slate of games, not one bodycheck was thrown thanks to our crackdown therefore no incidents were reported. Fans were bored out of their skulls and demanded refunds because they're not paying big $ to watch the WNHL." |

Don't worry Spicoli, I'll be famous soon, and then I'll have the money to fund the Cave for all of us.
I'm working on a side project and filming a pilot concept for The Travel Channel with some ASU students(and I totally want to bang "Britni" who is officially half my age as an 18 year old freshman) Radiology is still my day job, but we think this idea has legs. If it happens, the Cave is on me!!!!!
Oh, and I get my couch on the 13th. Then the lawn furniture returns to the lawn |

2-0, fishsticks, after 1.
Thomas looking a little rusty, but to be expected. Hamill our best player in that period by a longshot.
Not too concerned with these preseason games ... Last preseason we went 1-3-1, so it's really not a good barometer for the season to come. I like getting the opportunity to watch some of our younger guys play with the big boys ...

Kirk Luedeke reporting Spooner and Hamilton to be sent back to Junior after the game tonight ...
Thought Spooner was making a case but another year will only make him better. I'm sure he'll join the P-B's full time after his Junior season ends ...

Exactly.
Preseason let's teams with a lot of depth see what is in the system in a real meaningful way, unless your the Leafs then you dress your starting roster to determine how much of a chance you actually have. We have the depth, question is do we have the roster spots available? Guys like Hamil are on the bubble, time is not on their side. If he can't crack the lineup he may help at trade deadline to sweeten an offer should we need one.
