Marshmont-Bergeron-Peverley line is (frank)ing unreal. Can't wait to see Peverley put in a full season here ... - Aloha Mr. Hand
i'm pissed that some asswipe picked him on my league..and he is listed as that's right...a CENTER
35 for him |

Great showing by our team tonight ...
Z and Timmy looked a bit rusty, but all of our other returning players looked good. The Marchand-Bergy-Pevs trio was insane. As for the prospects, I thought Hamill looked good. Knight too. McKelvie has me intrigued with his strong skating, but needs to be smarter with the puck. MacDermid and Arniel did not look out of place. Koko was invisible tonight. Bartkowski did not impress ... |

BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has released 14 players from their training camp.
Andrew Bodnarchuk, Ryan Button, Marc Cantin, Carter Camper, Craig Cunningham, Josh Hennessy, Kirk MacDonald, Nathan McIver, Kevan Miller and Jamie Tardif will report to the Providence Bruins training camp (American Hockey League).
Dougie Hamilton (Niagara Ice Dogs, Ontario Hockey League), Alexander Khokhlachev (Windsor Spitfires, OHL), Jared Knight (London Knights, OHL) and Ryan Spooner (Kingston Frontenacs, OHL) will be returned to their junior teams.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Suave, Hamill, Caron, Arniel, MacDermid, McKelvie, and Bodnarchuk look to be the remaining frontrunners for a spot. McKelvie and Bodnarchuk are likely amongst the final cuts... Caron really hasn't done anything thus far to distance himself from the pack... Arniel and MacDermid are going to be solid 3-4 line/PK guys in the future. I see this coming down to Hamill, Caron, and Suave for the open spot ... |

Going to the Bruins/Habs preseason game tonight here in Halifax. Few decent players going tonight. Marchand of course. Horton, Seguin, Chara, Corvo, Rask.

Very good stream .. unfortunately in french.
Watching for Caper to throw a Cod on the ice if Quaider scores.
Boys looked good that period. Seguin looking super confident right now. Corvo buried one on the PP off a rebound. Kampfer buried Cole with a huge hit. Thornton took on Henry ... looked like Henry had about a foot reach advantage. Clark hustling pretty good. Didn't notice Marchand at all yet. |

Team looks great ... Khudobin playing a great game. Looks a bit like Timmy, eh?
Clark having a good game ... McKelvie looking better and better each game. Kampfer putting in a good showing as well. Add Corvo into that category as well.
Still not at all impressed with Pouliot ... Hamill outplaying him by leaps and bounds so far this camp ...
Caron I'm neutral on at this point. Not really standing out (either good or bad) |

Do not throw a banana at Subban. The last thing we need are the chicks on these boards to claim that the Bruins fans are the most racist again. |

He's not playing tonight ... But I wouldn't put it past anyone here on the Bruins board to do such a thing

Boys played really good. Seguin best player on the ice by far.
Clark makes this team I think. Agree on Pouliot, he's big and has great wheels, but I don't see much there. Dorothy looked real good tonight, Caron had good and bad, that one timer was a bullet.
Our young D struggled, Warsofsky in particular, which is too bad since he's having a real good camp. Corvo looks awesome with Z on the PP, he's going to have his #6 moments, but he already looks more comfortable thank Kaberle ever did.
Edit: And yes Khudobin totally looks like Timmy out there, every shots a (frank)ing adventure but he keeps most of them out |

Yup ... Caron's goal was a friggin Bullet. And back to Pouliot ... I hope Chiarelli has the balls to send him to Providence and let one of the kids play. He hasn't done sh!t.
Kampfer really zoning in on the #7 spot ... He's got it all but locked up I think.
Next round of cuts:
Warsofsky
McKelvie
Sauve
Pouliot
Whitfield
Cohen

Always a big night when Clitsome is involved

no mention on colborne being sent down?

Interesting. Colborne and D'Amigo among the early Leaf cuts. Both have lots of work to do.

A Clitsome/Cu nti combination would snatch a lot of attention in Columbus |

i was in row 10 on the blueline in the zone the Habs shot at twice so I was pretty close to the Bruins bench. Once it was 4-1 Bruins the row of Habs fans behind me were ready to conduct a mass suicide on the season.
it was cute |

Too bad they didn't go through with it
Rematch tomorrow night .....
So did Pouliot look as useless in person as he did on the webcast? Guy has done nothing impressive thus far, IMO.
Clark impressed me tonight. Seguin, without saying, obviously. Corvo looked good with Z .... Hamill played a great game and has had a great camp.
Anyone else stand out to you? |
