Its only slanderous if it causes harm, and this causes about as much harm as me saying Toad in NJ likes to wear ladies underwear. If these clowns would have said their piece and left it alone no one would even remember who Cherry was talking about by now.

All Cherry said was that these guys wanted fighting out of the game (and called them gutless because of it), even with that being incorrect in Stu's case, how that impacts Grimson's legal career in the least is beyond me.

Claude Julien said David Krejci suffered a core injury during practice yesterday. Krejci is day-to-day. The Bruins have not determined whether Krejci will be available for Saturday’s game against Chicago. During camp, Krejci complained of groin tightness.

With Krejci unavailable, Julien confirmed that Tyler Seguin will get a shot centering Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton. Jordan Caron, a healthy scratch in the last two games, will skate on the third line.

During the preseason, Seguin was more effective at center than wing.

“He seemed a little more comfortable,” Julien said of Seguin in the middle. “But not to the point where he could surpass our other guys that are there at right now. We certainly don’t want to make him a third- or fourth-line centerman. We need him to play more on those top lines. It was a situation where he seemed a little bit more comfortable. It’s been his position his whole career.”

* Tim Thomas and Cam Ward were the first goalies off for their respective clubs. Expect the two to square off in goal tonight.

* Chris Kelly will serve as the second alternate captain for the first time this season. Kelly will wear the second “A” on the road for the first half of the year.

No update on McQuaid, but he is traveling with team to Chicago. Also Julien says doesn't look like Krejci will join Bruins in Chicago.

Seguin again. I think they have to try putting him with marchand/peverly. he's slowed down by looch and horton.


As a side note:
I understand everyone not liking naoko, i don't either and i agree the talent in the looks department isn't there but because i'm a sicko that likes the yellow taxi rides,
