i like doan, morrow and bourque.
a little early though to get any of these guys. bourque might be avail. - salvadorsanchez
I like Doan and Morrow ...
Parise too if he wasn't represented by Arnott. Turris also a Newport News client I believe ...
Turris obviously wants out of the desert .... Wonder how much $ he really hopes to get?? |

thing with doan and morrow is that they are captains and been with the team for a long time and have NMC's. very unlikely to get them and will need to pay a huge price.
bourque could be had. turris is wheeler/kessel type and parise would cost a ton (but would be sick) |

Doan is the reason people go to games down here.
If they were out of it by the deadline, and we overpaid, it might happen.
You all know I love his game.

Whoa I like Doan, but I don't know about that.
Lots of guys on that list I'd like to see, but quite a few are very long shots I'd think.
Could see Bourque, Whitney, maybe Doan. Other guys will cost too much in return and cap space or are unlikely to be moved (Morrow - would LOVE to see him here, even more than Doan, but can't see him being available).
Bourque is interesting, he's got term left which PC has always seemed to lean towards in the past, seems like he could be a good fit, and there's a pretty solid trade history between PC and the Flames org albeit a different GM. I wouldn't mind him as a target at all. |

I'd rather him do that then find some disabled player for top dollar compensation.

Julien reunites Lucic-Krejci-Horton line

With his team languishing at the bottom of the NHL Eastern Conference standings -- in dead last after Thursday night's 2-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens at TD Garden -- Bruins coach Claude Julien looked to try to spark the squad by making some line changes and reuniting the Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton line.
"What would you expect me to do?'' said Julien, whose team will play the second half of this home-and-home series with the Canadiens Saturday night at the Bell Centre. "It's a simple answer. It's a coach just trying to find solutions, it's as simple as that.''
The Bruins coach made the move in hopes of getting the team's top line back in its playoff form of last season. Lucic-Krejci-Horton struggled to produce in the first three games of the season, with Horton landing just one shot on goal in his first 43:50 of ice time and Krejci missing some time with a core injury.
Asked if he was hoping to seize upon their playoff chemistry, Julien replied: ``You can look at it whichever way you want. I'm just making some line changes. Some of it is `Hey, will bringing guys back together help?' Who knows?
"If it doesn't,'' Julien warned, ``I'm telling you right now, you're going to see changes again.''
In other news:
Benoit Pouliout was a no-show at today's practice session at TD Garden. Julien reported Pouliot was sick and was uncertain as to whether the left winger would make the trip to Montreal for Saturday night's game. |

Tyler Seguin denies existence of congenital hip condition
Link|Comments (0) Posted by Fluto Shinzawa, Globe Staff October 29, 2011 12:37 PM
Tyler Seguin said he was not born with a congenital hip condition, as ESPN Boston reported yesterday.
“I was not born with any symptoms or anything like that,” Seguin said. “I’m 100 percent healthy. So whatever was said is false.”
maybe we are all missing the point here. distraction tactics? they are trading ute for a bag of pucks? trying to throw off the montreal media so chara isn't arrested or hounded about maxi rocket lafluer |
