Nash is easily the best player in the deal but that contract can handcuff a team especially with the unknown finanical circumstances surrounding an upcoming CBA negotiation. - Cape Breton Bruins
True but if you are gonna pay one guy 7 or 8 mil then Nash does fit the bill.
I'm not saying do it but we're not talking Gomez here.
but, this would also free up to put seguin in the middle if and when they chose to do so
biggest hurdle would be no way timmay approves it, so it would be rask
you are then one injury away from khueieeeieoeoeodobin being your #1
i want no part of mason as part of the return
DK is one tough player to evaluate, I'll say that.
Inconsistent offensively but who the (frank) in this league isn't? More Bergy-like than I like to give him credit for, a very smart player. I give him sh!t for nagging injuries but he does play through them and usually quite well. No problem whatsoever with his defensive game. I do not take trading him lightly and his loss at center would take us from C depth being a strong point to a weakness.
Almost seems unfair to give him 5+ and almost seems unfair not to.
It'd have to be real good. - gforce
46 was our leading scorer in the playoffs the year we won the cup. Nobody seems to ever bring that up

maybe get The Clit in return too - Toad in Nj
Timmay wont have a say after this season. He signed a 4 year deal, and the first 3 had a NTC or NMC. After the cup is won in June next year, we can move him if we want to without him having a say in the matter

Have to give quality to get quality though. As much as I'd love PC to swap Poo for Nash, obviously not in the cards. Krejci is our most tradeable asset at the position we can afford to trade from most, which makes him the prime candidate. I'm not pro-trading Ute ... but for a franchise guy like Nash, I certainly wouldn't hang up the phone if I'm PC.
"The injury bug continues to bite Toronto Maple Leafs centre Tim Connolly. Connolly missed practice on Monday and head coach Ron Wilson told reporters that the veteran is out 10 days to two weeks with an upper-body injury sustained on Saturday. Connolly started the year on injured reserve and missed eight games with an upper-body injury but this injury is not related"
