Don't know if it's fair to point this out, but Tim Thomas has three children named Kiley, Kelsey and Keegan.

TSNDaveHodge: To clarify, yesterday's tweet was simply a satirical, tongue-in-cheek observation meant to be humourous and not intended to be offensive.

Wardo just went off on Timmy on TSN radio. Pretty harsh, I would really hope that most guys wouldn't give a sh!t about it, surprising to me that a guy who's been in that locker room thinks it will be a big issue.

Sestito/Horton: Hit was .6 seconds after puck released. Hit makes principal point of contact to left shoulder. Not the head. No SD.

Who cares? You sound like a Habs fan.

"If Pierre Gauthier was smart, he would be looking for ways to get in line to draft either Nail Yakupov of the Sarnia Sting or Mikhail Grigorenko of the Quebec Remparts. Of course, if Gauthier was smart, the Habs wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place."

"WASHINGTON - For several months, Bruins personnel ranging from owner Jeremy Jacobs to the rank-and-file players knew that Tim Thomas wasn’t planning to attend Monday’s ceremony at the White House. None was surprised that Thomas, one of two Americans on last year’s Stanley Cup-winning roster, would be the lone dissident.

It was Timmy being Timmy.

“[Expletive] selfish [expletive],’’ one team source said."

--
Two team sources think Thomas’s decision won’t have a negative effect inside the dressing room because it reflects no deviation from his character. Separately, the sources both said Thomas’s actions merely revealed what his teammates have known since 2006-07, his first full season with the Bruins: that he is a solitary, me-against-the-world figure who often puts himself in front of the team.
--

Such is the personality that has left Thomas with few friends among the players. But it’s also the attitude that has made Thomas a two-time Vezina Trophy winner, the reigning Conn Smythe Trophy winner, and the Bruins’ most important player.

--

Thomas’s decision, however, may be the first step in goalie and team parting ways. His no-movement clause expires at the conclusion of this season. Thomas has one more season remaining on his four-year, $20 million contract. Rask, a restricted free agent at year’s end, should be ready to assume the starting job in 2012-13.

He's a (frank)in goalie. Goalies are quacks, it's a tradition. The rest of the team really looks like they despise Timmy on the ice don't they?

I'm sure PC will trade him because of THIS, the last straw.

Here's a bit of good news: Seguin is going to score about 10,000 goals in a B's uni.

It's funny that it's apparently no surprise and he's always been like this, the team won a cup with him like this, but now he's as good as gone.

It is disappointing to hear that Timmy maybe isn't as likeable as he comes off as. Buccigross mentioned it a couple years back too in an interview (with Connolly) and I never paid much mind to it. However it sure doesn't look like its a big issue given the success the team has had with him, and quite frankly it seems to do Timmy well in terms of his performance and motivation. End of the day, that's all I care about.

The Obama Zombies can't help themselves when it comes to this. I've never seen anything like this before in my life. Every perceieved slight is disrespectful and/or racist....no matter how accurate or appropriate they may be.

They are all so hypocritical. Theo is their hero for doing this to George Bush, but Timmay shouldn't ever wear the Team USA jersey again? Funny how they love to defent the "Occupy" losers for their protest against corporate America, but our goalie does some kind of protest based on his beliefs and it's national news about what a disrespectful piece of garbage he is.

Good for Timmay

This is still a media fueled story and they will milk. It for as long as possible to sell ads and get traffic. There were nfl guys, baseball players etc that declined. He's white and American so he's being subjected to the zombie nation why don't you bow before the king. Good for him to not sell out

yeah, Jack Todd is an idiot. Quoting and agreeing with Mike Milbury is a good proof of that.
