I wonder if that is the hold up? Maybe the flyers dont want to trade bob/versteeg/carle and the 8th YET, if their guy wont be there. Imagine... after RNH is gone at #1 and bettman steps up and says "There is a trade to announce!"

If I am Colorado and I'm looking at trading Stastny, I wait and see if the Oilers take RNH. If they don't, There's no way I move that 2nd pick and I grab RNH.

I pulled off a Cam Fowler last summer.

Ended up needing a skin graft.
