Bill, why is everything so quiet... You know something... I know you know something... Give us a hint. - youarewrong
I'm not in Minnesota, I'm in Philly. However, I can almost guarantee that a bunch of teams -- Flyers included -- are feeling out potential deals that involve moving u/down in draft. The deals aren't usually announced until start or draft or even right up until the team is on the board to make its pick.

i really hope they move up to that 3rd spot, and draft Larsson or Landeskog. Without trading Bob. |

I think Murphy is going to pan out as a Rafalski or Enstrom type down the line-- worth the risk.

You wouldn't do Bob and the 8th for the 2nd? I think Colorado would, but we'll see. |

It sounds like Bob could be a big trading chip today... what are the chances he remains a Flyer? |

I know we have heard that Landeskog projects to maybe be a Mike Richards type of player. That of course, gets me excited.
At the same time what does Larsson project to be like? |

Worst-case scenario, a Mattias Norstrom with much better wheels. Best case scenario, a franchise player.

gotta love this from Kevin Allen of USA Today:
Brayden Schenn has the potential to be a significant contributor, maybe even a future captain. Every scout in hockey likes this prospect. |

Then I suppose I take him.
As long as his work ethic, is one of his biggest strengths, and his heart/dedication has never been in question.
If any of those have been mentioned as possible issues, I take Landeskog. No more inconsistency. Guys who give their all every shift should be the focus. |

Agreed. He has all the skill, but also the determination and work ethic to be a great, possible even franchise, player. |

Very interesting. Norstrom was a very good defensive d-men, if that is worst case, go up to the top 3 and get him Homer. |

There is no way in hell it happens. Yzerman should be fired on the spot if it does.
I will give you my left nut if Stamkos ever leaves Tampa. |

Its funny, I've been saying that phrase ever since I've joined here, and the Flyers did exactly that yesterday. |
