no no. i really liked the artwork better.
and there were actual frames on the pages. now you open a comic book and every page looks like one big picture. - kicksave856
why are you still opening comic books? how old are you? |

i agree.
i liked the 80's and 90's because the characters were drawn a certain way. after a while it became like looking at video game art and i was turned off. - kicksave856
The art was complicated but still clearly drawn without the aid of a computer. I find if the comics are too old the art is too cartoony and almost half assed compared to the stuff from the 80s and 90s. |

i actually have a price range. comics were good from the time they were $0.60 to the time they were $1.75.
the $0.75 era was my favorite. |

Tough to say right now. I would probably feel most confident in my boxing but definitely the level of guitar playing I reached a couple years ago was higher than the highest level of boxing or drawing I've ever reached.
(drawing is definitely the worst of the three for me in any case) |

No, clearly he'd been drawing for a long time but I post that because for me that's pretty much tops as far as comic art goes. |
|

Yeah well it's true. Late 80s, early 90s = best comic art ever. It wasn't riddled with computer crap and the artists at that time were a bunch of mutant drawing machines.
(I only have two arms so it can't get worse on the arm bar front). - Pikey

Nah look at that Wolverine and find me any Wolverine that comes close from the 70s that approaches that level of detail.
This is pretty much how I see the two generations of artists. |

I have to say Rob Liefeld is an exception. Worst comic artist ever. |

well, it's all subjective. we all have different opinions. it's not like one is right or wrong. it's just people like what they like. |

i find most poop from the 90s extremely cheesy, what r u gonna do.
adge is trying to get me to post names, he's getting agitated
he insists i put the names adams and aparo and that their batmans piss on anything that comes later
after this he's gonna have to log on himself lol |
