i find most poop from the 90s extremely cheesy, what r u gonna do.
adge is trying to get me to post names, he's getting agitated
he insists i put the names adams and aparo and that their batmans piss on anything that comes later
after this he's gonna have to log on himself lol - Don'tForgetTocchet
To me a Batman like this:
Lacks effort compared to Jim Lee's Batman and doesn't have the life of Tim Sale's Batman (my two favourite Batman artists).

Ten years apart.
It has nothing to do with nostalgia. Old comics are just too filled with stuff like this:
Which is pretty much a finished drawing for a guy like Buscema and that's not even good enough for panel art for most guys from the late 80s and early 90s. |

it's all a matter of style, i guarantee both groups of artists could produc each other's stuff on talent alone. but certain styles are cheesy to some and the opposite to someone else.

Yeah it's a matter of style for sure and I'm certain they could reproduce one another's art by looking at it and copying. I guess I just like the pseudo realistic style of the 80s and 90s as opposed to the more upbeat kind of bouncy older style.

The things I mainly don't like about the top Batman is he's too generic and I HATE the blue (which I've read started because of lazy inking). Certainly it's better than anything I could do but if I picture Batman, I picture something more like the bottom one but especially like Jim Lee's Batman:

Firstly, Frank Miller never drew that well. Secondly, Frank Miller was not the first to make Batman dark (which was the original concept that got lost somewhere in the 50s and 60s).
Thirdly I see Egon Schiele's work may fit into kick's fapping thread.

but this is from 2008 - penguininnevada
Jim Lee is pretty much the biggest icon of late 80s, early 90s comic art. That's the style of the time and even though he drew it in 2008, it's a prime example of the style.
I assume if we looked at something Buscema drew in 1990 it would still count as 60s style art. |

sorry i was distracted, apparently a mod loves to delete any thread about Casey Anthony, fascinating
http://www.hockeybuzz.com...hread.php?thread_id=89303 - penguininnevada
We should perform an expirement where we create a Dr Dellio thread and Casey Anthony thread and see which gets deleted first. Which of the two is more offensive? |

to be honest, for nostalgia purposes, i don't mind this iron man (that was actually my fav iron man suit, followed by the silver and red, which i doubt anybody liked) or the top batman, because my first comics were my uncle's old collection that he gave me when i was a kid. but for sitting and reading a comic, i like the 80's and 90's artwork. like 85ish to 95ish and stuff.
but like i said, it's all just opinion. |

batman has always been dark
to insult miller is to insult what you posted, same thing but even weaker
(really, that's it i'm making him log on) |
