Depends on the comic. Probably 2.99 50 percent of the time, 3.99 40 percent of the time and 4.99 ten percent. Anything more would be more like a trade paperback.

I bought some Wolverine comics the other day. Turns out they were both about hippie save-the-earth gaia crap and I couldn't get through them.

Wolverine stories should go like this: Wolverine and Cyclops get into an argument over how to deal with Sabretooth so Wolverine goes to a bar to blow off some steam. He meets some chick who likes short, hairy men and they hit it off. She goes to the bathroom and is murdered. Wolverine tracks the scent of the badguy back to his lair. Turns out the badguy killed her as part of an initiation into the badguy club. Wolverine calls someone bub and then murders people with his claws. Wolverine calls someone a rookie. He goes back to the X-mansion and says he always feels better after a little exercise.
