Maybe Prock is keeping track of the points for him...it would explain a lot

For the second time this season, the title of Oshawa Generals Player of the Week goes to forward Nicklas Jensen for the period ending November 6th.

The 1st round pick of the Vancouver Canucks in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft totalled 3 goals and 1 assist for 4 points and a +2 rating in 3 games. His performance in Sudbury on Friday November 4th, where he tallied 2 goals and an assist, earned him the 2nd star of the game.

Also in consideration this week were Captain Boone Jenner, who totalled 1 goal and 4 assists for 5 points, and Kevin Bailie, who stopped 42 of 45 shots in November 3rd's road game against Sudbury.

Edit: Scored again tonight...

Was at the Mooseheads game on Friday and Grenier looked positively sluggish. I mean, Halifax looked poopty altogether, but Grenier still has a lot to learn off the puck. Sawyer Hannay, a longshot draft pick of yours, looked passable, especially when paired with Konrad Abelthauser (2010, Sharks). Nathan MacKinnon still tries to do too much with the puck.

Tomas Fillipi (undrafted) for Baie-Comeau looked to be head and shoulders above anyone else on the ice. Watch out for Matthew Boudreau, who was gifted two powerplay goals but looks to be bust central...

Cody keeps impressing. He looked so dangerous last night. Loving the progress.

On a serious, un-Kadri related note, How is Hodgson doing?

Is he showing solid two-way hockey, with a few glimpses of offensive flare, or is he doing great at both ends of the ice?

Umm... isn't that the same thing?

Yes, he's fricking amazing at both ends...playing solid hockey. Most consistent player on the Canucks this season.

1st was very defensive a little offense, 2nd was great at both.

Glad to hear. Sucks when a young guy has so many injury problems, but glad hes recovered well.

He's exceeded my expectations. Winning a ton of battles, drawing penalties, hustling back to take away lanes, creative passing, great hand eye, causing turnovers/retrieving pucks on forecheck. All positive things I've consistently seen.

that's incredible. If he keeps this pace up, he'll score 40 points. He's lighting it up like Tyler Bozak these days.

...except Kadri is sucking in the AHL this season....maybe a stint in the ECHL will help get him back into his AHL career.

With that being said...Kadri is beating Hodgson in the AHL again. CoHo is obviously a bust.

We have a poopload of prospects playing games over the next three nights. All of the teams have radio feeds if you need a prospect fix.

Oshawa and Halifax start tonight three in a row. Prince Albert plays two in a row. The Wolves also play two in a row and Harvard plays tonight as well. Those are the only teams I checked and I was surprised it was 100% for tonight.

Jensen is on fire and really putting on a show all season this far. He's playing his best hockey yet the last couple of games. Many already feel this prospect is going to fast track into the NHL.

A good weekend for a few of our Junior/college prospects...

McNally Just had a 3 point game for Harvard. He's playing a point per game @ 9 games.
Nick Jensen just had 5 points in two games over the weekend, tied for 1st on the Gens.
Grenier had a 4 point weekend, still playing steady.
Tochkin with a 3 point game Fri...he's been hot for weeks.

I wonder about Grenier - still filling the net but doesn't play very well off the puck, he's just a physical specimen...Could be an NHLer but could just be a top-scoring AHL guy that never makes the jump...A good guy to take a chance on drafting I suppose

Who knows...with the right developement, he could be a scoring threat on our 3rd one day. At the very least, a 4rth line checker I hope.

So far, Archibald...who we hoped would look like a option for our 3rd in the next year or two, looks horrible. He had one point on the Wolves and eventually played himself into the ECHL. He was just called up to the Wolves. I havent looked to see how he's been doing in the E yet....hopefully he gets it together on this call up. As long as Sweatt is up for the Nuc's...Archibald has a shot to turn his progress around.
