Jensen is still impressing. He's played the fewest games in Oshawa's top six, leads the team in points per game and +/- and tied for second in points. Most of their offense has played 8 or 9 games.

Av talked about how well he protects the puck and covers his own responsibly. Big strong and fast. This looks like a pretty good pick @ 29th.

Clearly you haven't watched him play much. The guy is only 21. He missed a year of development so he's actually 20 in hockey standards. To put that in perspective Ryan Kesler was that age when it was his first AHL pro season and he scored 3 goals and 8 assists, 11 points in 33 games.. Cody has been recognized in many circles as one of the hardest working players off the ice on the planet. Me thinks he will become a star. Ask Gary Roberts. I'll take his word and my assessments over yours.

hey didn't you tell me in one of these threads that hodgson would score 40 to 50 points this year?

still think that?

50 may be a stretch but when Kesler returns and they play together, 30-40 may be realistic, who knows. Hodgson has been playing with two plugs and looking excellent out there. Sturm is bust...should be waived and Samualsson cant even keep his head up enough to pick up some of the incredible passes CH has been making. Finally...CH has a player who is capable. Higgins is off to a great start and the two have chemistry. The shutout in Detroit was unfortunite for their first game together. Still, they were maybe the best forwards for the Canucks. Tonight in Oil town may look different on the scoresheet for the triple H line.

The truth is, CH has been one of the good stories so far for the Canucks.

CoHo made a great pass and Salo scored...Higgins was also in on that goal. Told you.

Higgins Kesler CoHo
or
Higgins CoHo Kesler

I think if those three stick together we will see no shortage of points. If CoHo ends up on the 3rd line then I don't expect more than 25 points even though he'll be quaterbacking the second PP unit. The Sedins usually eat up almost the entire 2 minutes most nights.

Love that Kadri is in the A and Hodgson is a fixture on the Canucks 2nd line.

Kadri will do a couple of games in the AHL first probably....but shouldnt have a problem cracking the Leafs once he gets his legs back.
