Phoenix gave up 32.6 shots per game last year. The Flyers gave 30.1 shots per game. Not really much of a difference. - MJL
Does that mean you agree or disagree with my assessment? Also, that doesn't tell you quality of shots. Not sure but they prob had higher quality shots in Phoenix., |

Nothing like Philadelphia, at least not when I was there a few years ago. Attendance has increased with recent success, but it's still, you know, the Pirates. - bradleyc4
that we are. . still the Pirates. haha
I remember when I first moved out here and people said Citizen park had a bad ass city scape. . . . I went there and was quite disappointed. As you said PNC is a really nice park and you can see the windows of the city buildings its so close. So I may just be spoil by that. haha |

Hard to say. I hear some Goalies say they like to have a lot of shots to keep them mentally in the game. I think Bryzgalov if he plays as he's capable of, will make a significant difference. The biggest one is the mental boost it gives the team playing in front of him knowing they have a top Goalie. And maybe for once in a long time, we can erase the question mark and year to year issue of who the Goalie is going to be. |

They can make all the excuses they want. If the Flyers play the Red Wings in the final, but Detroit's missing Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Lidstrom, winning that series would be as wonderful as if they had been playing. - Jsaquella
I stated earlier in another post that I will still celebrate whether a player is injured or not. Winning is winning. Its not my fault (or anyones) if other teams players are injured. Thats just part of the game and every team goes through it. |

Yeah thats very true. But I have seen players do drills and conditioning and be totally fine. Then when contact came into play, it was literally lights out or dizziness. I wish him well and hope he plays this season, this way there is no excuses when we take the Atlantic Division from the Penguins. I know we won last year but the excuse was no Crosby or Malkin. - stveshdy
But the fact that he's symptomatic when doing conditioning is a red flag. |
