Yeah, Rico was a member at a local golf club that I was a member at and we played some golf, drank a lot, smoked cigars. A real down to earth guy, gave a lot of his time to the area and could reel off the jokes. R.I.P Rico bro!

i took a gander at it. i clicked on their methodology and didn't bother reading further.

basically, it's a measure of cumulative wealth for a region. it has nothing to do with a community actually wanting a team or has any passion for hockey. without gauging interest, how can one assume that they would be able to support a team? ridiculous!

how the hell does anyone forget or make up seeing a player in person playing in europe?

seeing a HHOF player playing in the hockey wastelands isn't exactly a common experience that would be clouded with time.

my guess? some guy 3 rows over said something like "that guy skates like mike gartner," in swiss-german. ek then started screaming "that's gartner, that's mike gartner."

this is switzerland, more specifically zug, everything closes by 7pm (by law) other places close by 10pm special lisence and the bars/nightclubs by 12 latest so no not really haha
