there's always going to be multiple holes to fill at multiple positions and you could always make the case to take one of those players ahead of the corner (as they've seemingly done for years now), but i've had enough. just get it over with

Cook is dropping, so be it. This McCaffry talk is silly, he's a luxury pick. No doubt he'll be a dynamic player but they have bigger needs. At 14, you take the BA CB or trade back and pick up more picks. I'm scoping some other RBs

I do think they have CB as the top position of need in each tier, but you can't pass up on a guy you think could be an elite edge rusher in order to reach for positional need. A good edge rusher probably makes the secondary just as good as a good corner would anyway.

I just hate the idea of reaching for positional need when the draft is deep at CB anyway. Grab a couple later and maybe one of those guys turns into a starter. Hopefully, the draft falls perfectly and one of the best players available is a CB, but don't Marcus Smith another pick.

There is no RB in this draft that is worth a 1st rounder. The difference between guys rated later in the draft and those labeled 1st round guys is minimal.

Taking one before 25 is about as dumb as it gets.

Be as bad as taking an interior Oline guy in the 1st round.
