Same. I think SEA did well, I view them as similar talents and the Seahawks got the cheaper one.

He hasn't been as good since he had surgery on his throwing shoulder IMO, drained some of his arm strength. Chip acquired expensive damaged goods for a perfectly solid young QB.

Bradford hasn't really played in two years and he's never had adequate coaching or weapons. I can see why Chip was intrigued, but he gave up too much for a guy who likely won't work out. Bradford may have been released if they traded Foles to them.

I was a Bradford fan when he came out of college and even this morning I thought the Rams would be smart to keep him and use the pick on another position, but a Foles is a similar(I'd say better) talent after Bradford's shoulder injury so this just makes no sense and is too good to be true for the Rams.

And when you factor in the contracts and picks it just becomes ridiculous.

I was a Bradford fan when he came out of college and even this morning I thought the Rams would be smart to keep him and use the pick on another position, but a Foles is a similar(I'd say better) talent after Bradford's shoulder injury so this just makes no sense and is too good to be true for the Rams.

The thing about QB trades is that they either blow up on you or become steals. Finding a top 10 QB is priceless.

I feel like Bradford and Foles are comparable. If they made the deal straight up, I wouldn't really be mad because Bradford is probably better suited for the spread. The fact that they gave up assets for him is what leaves me curious.

I'm pretty sure others teams have read the reports about Chip at the draft last year wanting to target guys a round or 2 too early and the concerns that he's inexperienced as a NFL GM and might not be totally in touch with market values.


I still like him as a coach and think he has a good eye for talent but he's not cut out to make trades/signings and run a draft with full/majority control.

He's the only one other than Chip. I don't even think Belichick is the greatest personnel guy either. Brady covers a lot of their limitations

I'd actually be happy if they had just not done this trade. Up until now I was fine with every move. Even straight up it makes no sense unless STL adds.
