it was nice to see reimer hold the fort last night after that 3rd goal.
i really do think hes going to be just fine. he just needs to stay calm and keep cutting down those angles like he is!
to be honest - the monster has looked good, and scrivens has looked the best of the three, though he will be starting in the AHL, and id imagine #1 over Rynass eh? - big_dion
I like Burke's philosophy so far... grab 100 goalies btn 18 - 23 years old and see who can play. Low CAP Hit, Depth etc.. etc... |

well, the death was added in to make fun of them.
Those hipsters actually tried to raise money to build (frank)ing cloth forts in communities because they "insert marketing hot-word" |

The one on Hedman is priceless. Neil is 6'1. Hedman is 6'6. Neil manages to elbow him in the face. That's some nice hangtime... - Big_Lightnin
That was the only video I watched so far...and it looked pretty clean to me....Great hit actually. |

How does one jump without leaving their feet.
Watch the video again ....with some objectivity this time. |

Big Lightning is clearly confusing jumping with plowing so hard into a guy that he has to leave his feet because the person he impacted is crumpled on the ice already. Same thing happened in the Bryan Little video. He doesn't jump there either...but yes after he hits the guy and he goes down Neil goes airbourne. It's a natural progression when you hit someone that hard. |

I think putting Kadri back in the AHL will slow down his development, his skill set needs to learn the NHL game. The 7th overall three years ago needs a full year to determine his potential and improve his knowledge. This could be a future first liner - he's crazy skilled. He did enough damage in the AHL last year to prove he's over and above that skill set.
Frattin appears ideal for a perfect winger 3rd liner role for years to come. He's a good player. Pretty impressive considering where he came from.
At the end of the day both should be on the team. - HipHopisDead
Both should be there. With Brown's injury/recovery they have a perfect excuse to keep them both in the line-up. Lombardi also not fully ready.
Phaneuf Aulie
Schenn Liles
Franson-Gunnarson
Komisarek 7th
Wilson needs the team to get off to a good start. Komisarek's first period yesterday was a large part of the 3 goals against. I'm not buying what some have been trying to feed us... that Komisarek has looked bettter, well better than what - the crap Komisarek that played more games than he deserved 09/10, or the ultra craptastic Komisarek that played more minutes during Phaneuf's absence and with Kaberle and Beauchemin both still in the fold during the wonderful late October - late November nose dive in 2010/11? What does Komisarek bring other than a substantial CAP hit - that can't be delivered by either or any of Aulie, Gunnarson or Franson? |

Let's vote. How many people here think it was intentional? How many think it was unintentional? - coffee junkie
Late to the game here but 100% intentional. The most pathetic part is how he tries to sell a hit on him 1/2 a second later. Neil knew what he was doing.

darcy tucker stats: 947 GP - 476 points - 1410 PIM
playoffs: 68 GP - 21 points - 81 PIM
chris neil stats: 659 GP - 172 points - 1683 PIM
playoffs: 74 GP - 12 points - 131 PIM
