Aulie hasn't earned a spot and while Komisarek is absolutely horrendous, they won't bench him until they absolutely have to. Aulie should be sent down and Gardiner will too because the Leafs aren't getting Benn for Gunnarsson and Bozak.

it looks alot like his head hit on drury years ago, the accidently on purpose hit to the head.

i also think it's a lot, especially given the fact that the awkward angle, and the fact that it didn't even seem like he was looking at Grabo, makes it seem sort of unintentional (not saying it was, just that it possibly seemed that way). that being said, the way shanabanned has been handing them out, it seems on par.

I honestly don't know what they would get for both of those guys that would be worth it. More middling talent that we already have an abundance of. Might as well let them linger until injuries and trade deadline approaches and get rid of our redundant parts for picks.

people don't like him cuz he plays physical, and agitates, but i think its' a little unfair that he's bee labelled a dirty player by a lot of people.

The Drury hit was completely intentional, but legal under the rules of the time. Drury was caught puck watching when Neil hit him. Completely different IMO. Whether or not Neil gets suspended will be dependent on if Shanny buys that it was incidental.

1. just because you aren't looking at him when you hit him doesn't mean you don't see him/know he's there

2. you have to be accountable for your actions. If you are driving and look the wrong way and cause an accident you can't say Oops I wasn;t looking....

I kind of hope they just suspend Neil for the first game of the season, because the second game is against Toronto and he has a date with Colton Orr

Hit on Drury... there are tons of examples of questionable hits from him.

1. just because you aren't looking at him when you hit him doesn't mean you don't see him/know he's there

i wasn't sticking up for him, and saying it wasn't a bad hit. i was simply pointing out the fact that it wasn't a "cut and dry" incident. it actually reminded a lot of the hit on crosby last year (although not nearly as hard), where it was just impossible to tell if it was deliberate, or just two players running into eachother.

With that hit I think the question is did he mean to hit Grab? If you say no, then he gets nothing. If you say yes then he targeted a players head with out the puck in open ice. That is more then 3 games. 8 would about do it but only if you think he meant to.

IMO both players (neil and Steckel) knew where they were.

If you mean 8 regular season games that would be way to much. If I am not mistaken that is what Wizneiski got and that situation was much different and Wiz has a suspension history.
