last year I wouldn't have been saying it was suspendable. I'd be saying it should have been 2 mins for interference followed by a visit to Mr Orr's office...

Ok, let's let them get the first one down first. Explaining what IS suspendable is still FAR better than what we WERE getting.

And with all the reviews he's had, he's likely not going to have a lot of time to look at all the borderline hits and explain why they AREN'T suspendable.

He simply got away with one, end of story. The hit was questionable - but clearly inconclusive. Maybe he positioned himself in a way to draw no-fault, or maybe he wasn't paying attention (neither was grabo). There is no point of arguing this one. If we see repeats of this hit with calls + suspension, then we worry.

That's great to see. I think Phaneuf has REALLY done wonders for the attitude of the team. I think it was Cox's article the other day that said Phaneuf took a shot on Reimer in practice, followed up the rebound and scored on it because Remier didn't have it covered. And Phaneuf said something to him about covering the rebounds. I think it's great that's he's involved like that.
