Watching Franson I noticed moments where he looked like an impact guy, and moments where I went "yikes, kid". I was actually very surprised to see how much Lupul was pushing-- he seemed tentative in previous pre-season matches, but he was vocal on the ice.

Indeed. I posed the question to Twitter about Kadri's night at center, which I liked offensively, but everything else I didn't like. There were also a few moments where I wanted to punch him as if he was just having a brain fart and would go into la-la land.
