yeah, he had an off first period, but his first bad game of the pre-season, also keep in mind he was paired with a guy in phaneuf he rarely plays with - Dozzer
yup. They put Aulie back there pretty quick.
Also Aulie's best game of the Preseason, which was nice to see.

I think putting Kadri back in the AHL will slow down his development, his skill set needs to learn the NHL game. The 7th overall three years ago needs a full year to determine his potential and improve his knowledge. This could be a future first liner - he's crazy skilled. He did enough damage in the AHL last year to prove he's over and above that skill set.
Frattin appears ideal for a perfect winger 3rd liner role for years to come. He's a good player. Pretty impressive considering where he came from.
At the end of the day both should be on the team. - HipHopisDead
I would love to see both with the Leafs, unfortunately the numbers (players) doesn't support this happening at the moment.

it was nice to see reimer hold the fort last night after that 3rd goal.
i really do think hes going to be just fine. he just needs to stay calm and keep cutting down those angles like he is!
to be honest - the monster has looked good, and scrivens has looked the best of the three, though he will be starting in the AHL, and id imagine #1 over Rynass eh?
I like all of this, but I'd say Frattin may have 2nd line potential for sure. That shot is ridiculous. PP minutes could make him a sniper. He could take McArthur's spot right now and that line wouldn't miss a beat (based solely on what we've seen so far. My preference would be give him time in AHL and see if he dominates, then bring him back up.) - Big_Lightnin
Not saying all these are penalties, but they are all DIRTY hits. Everyone of them.
And these are just the first 5 I pulled up. Could do this all day.
I'd love Neil if he was a Leaf too, but I sure as hell wouldn't blow smoke up your ass about him not being dirty. He is, and he needs to be to do his job. Period. - Big_Lightnin
with the exception of the hit on Little, all questionable and the Drury and Eaton hits in particular look like direct targetting of the head with those nice soft shouder pads.

i wonder if wilson was experimenting with the phaneuf gunnarsson pairing because he is working out his options on the back end.
with 9 guys and only 2 waiver exempt the easy move would be to send aulie and gardiner down leaving lashoff as the 7th man keeping the press box seat warm

nah, Lashoff really doesn't matter, let him go on waivers, cycle Komi in and out of the bottom pairing.

i think with reimer he just needs to get used to how he moves in the crease now that he is what was it, 20lbs lighter?!

Yeesh ....I live in Ossington Village so I get the pleasure of seeing them too often. I do throw my coffee at them though. - The Law
don't, they'll just walk around with the burn and coffee stain, and call it ironic... and get all the apathetic admiration of their (frank)tarded peers.

The one on Hedman is priceless. Neil is 6'1. Hedman is 6'6. Neil manages to elbow him in the face. That's some nice hangtime...
