Not sure what you're trying to say. I was responding to a comment about a play in the Boston vs Ottawa game, and I agreed with the "take" on the play.
Wouldn't you like to see Seguin in a leaf jersey?
I would have loved to see Landeskog, in a Sens jesrey/ - Doppleganger

Have already done in the past. But perhaps your bias leafs goggles are filled with blue kool-aid.
Sunday @ 6:24 PM ET
Another Senator Prospect will be in the line up for today's game against the second overall (P% .750) leafs.
Starting tonight is Lehner and will have his work cut out for him, as I see Kessel's speed being a problem for a couple of rookie Defensemen for the Senators tonight.
Despite toronto being ranked 26th overall in GA/G & 27th overall in PK%, they are playing the second best hockey (P%) in the NHL.
The Senators will also be without Daniel Alfredsson for tonight's game, so on paper, the leafs should mop up the floor with the Senators tonight.
But I'm calling for an Ottawa win tonight, to show that all those players who prevailed in the Cadler Cup playoffs last year can carry their experience through to the NHL and beat the leafs tonight. - Doppleganger

I make positive comments (like you asked) many times.............big difference.
As for you being a troll, lets just say you spend a lot of time (posting) in the Senators Forum, and I have NEVER posted in the leafs forum, so what does that say to you?

other than the PK, prior to last night, I'd have to agree with you. But if anyone mentions something like Kadri languishing in the minors, while many others from his draft year, selected after him are well on their way to becoming full time NHLers, then they'll ruffle a few feathers.

Haha MPS is not really looking like a full-time NHLer right now.
Seriously, none of these players were immediate rookie sensations like Crosby, Toews, (hopefully RNH continues to be). I'm fairly confident that all of them will be regular NHLers - I don't know that any of them will be (super)stars. What does it matter when they achieve their success? |

It doesn't. If a rookie is 25 and is playing on the first line, he's still a rookie. People will always be compared with their compatriots in their draft year.
However a player drafted out of Junior and stays another year in Junior and then makes the NHL should not be compared to one that goes the US College route. That player will usually make the four year commitment to the College while the Junior player will most likely make it to the NHL earlier. |

Just saying, neither those guys nor Kadri were instant rookie sensations nor are they looking at all like they'll be busts. So what reason is there to brag about one over the other? |

Well that's what fans of rival teams do. Right now Cowen is contributing to the Senators, while Kadri is yet to catch on at the NHL level, he may or may not. time will tell. |

Frankly I could care less what Oscar Klefbom is doing compared to Sven Bartschi.
Really, when you point out how Kadri has a hard time making the leafs top 6 and Cowen is on the Ottawa d-corps, you open up questions about how easily Kadri would make the ottawa top 6 or Cowen would make the toronto d-corps. Is that the can of worms you want to open over a pretty irrelevant statement about how two prospects are faring?
It's something to brag about when you have a good player, or the best rookie, or whatever, but "my team's prospect isn't doing outstanding, but is slightly better than your team's prospect? |

Please look up the definition of troll. It just irritates me when people use the term in such a cavalier manner. For the most part the forums are relatively troll free. Trolls misrepresent or mischaracterise their identity or beliefs in order to hook responses. The essence of trolling is deceit. If a guy comes on here and says that Brian Murray is an idiot or Brian Burke is a loud mouth it is not trolling if he is saying what he believes to be true.
Trolling can be a highly refined skill and you should not think that some of the luddards who post on this site have the intellectual capacity to be primarily, merely deceptive as to the meaning and character of their original thoughts.
