F.ing ref in my league called me for 3 penalties this week. First penalty I was a good 4-5 feet away from the guy and he tripped. I got called for Holding. The guy who fell started laughing his ass off on the ground it was so pathetic.

Second one the guy was behind the net so i rested my arm on his back and got called for roughing.

Third one I said screw this and leelled a good friend behind the net. Won't argue that one.

WTF though.

that OV was cold, and still managed 7 shots on net, his season high at that point.

Kessel and EK ,where trying to outskill each other there .So kessel being a pretty good skill player would have beaten him a few times for sure.Ek would have won his share as well against Kessel.

At the time of the 2008 draft, many criticized the Maple Leafs for making the "safe" pick of Luke Schenn, over the highly touted Russian, Nikita Filatov(Stan Chistov 2.0), even those in Leaf nation were upset.

But now, in 2011, Schenn is a top 4 defensemen, while Filatov was once again sent to the minors, it won't be long before he goes back to Russia while Schenn prospers.

Ottawa will be the worst team in the east, while the Leafs will be competitive, credit is due

Schenn, from what I've heard, has not had a good year. Filatov was a cheap roll of the dice, and he's a long way from the NHL and never showed that he would ever be a NHLer.

As for the Senators being " the worst team in the east".................well there's a few teams below them i the standings as off today, and the re-build is well under way.

Schenn is going to be fantastic next season. A step down from last season but he;s still only 22.

I hope he drops some weight over the summer.

Could happen ,i think there will be a lot of movement in this years draft as opposed to other years .I could see BB making a play for 1st overall with CLB
