yeah I watched that one and the "more Doug DeMuro" vid on it last night. I had the vector hot wheels and a model w8 as a kid, I loved that car.

i recently started getting harry's garage recommendations in my youtube feed. that's gotta be endgame right there, like 20 minute videos of some old rich dude driving cars from his collection. that's the bottom of the rabbit hole.

I feel like I'd get a 60s F1 car and die at mosport park if money wasn't an issue. I would make it to day 2 of a 3 day race weekend before parishing. Driver error.

the car i would have killed myself in would have probably been an NSX. they were all the rage when i was growing up and they were accessible. i even drove some working at the dealership in town back then. so as soon as i got my billions i'd have bought the nsx. red AF.

the car i hope to kill myself in someday is a mustang shelby GT500.

the car i almost killed myself in was a 1985 chrysler new yorker (everything turned out fine!).

the first thing i noticed was the footwell. you could barely fit both feet down there. you wouldn't even be able to drive it with boots on. the next thing i noticed was the shifter. it was as easy as driving a legend or an integra only it was faster than anything i'd ever driven before.
