It's possible I guess. They just have a lot of needs. I can see them becoming a fringe playoff team in a few years. Not sure they'll be contending for a Cup for at least 4-5 years.

They could always pull a Flyers and make a trade for a guy like Pronger and become a legit contender in 2-3 years, so who knows.

i guess you're right though. if they make no big move they have nice pieces but they're young and they'll have to wait it out.
