Oil Prices are stayiong low as a result of the traders and oil companies themselves. they simply have too much stock right now and are dumping it the second the prices rises a little, driving it back down.

It'll correct itself, but it will take some time.

I hear you.

The irony of it... as I see it... is that we, the consumer, want lower prices to help manage our personal Budgets... and one would believe that a trickle down effect would occur as the cost of Transportation and Operation... and Overhead in Companies would be lower.

... And we are told that the 'opposition' party(s) were wrong for allowing Oil Prices to rise... But when we as consumers actually see some relief from the once soaring Oil Costs, we are thrown into a recession and told that the low Oil Prices are a major driving factor.

Is there any question why we feel that there is no way to win?

Change is needed on both sides of the Border it seems... But even with that, it seems the cards are stacked against us... It takes both sides of the aisle and some personal concession to allow changes that reach beyond politics.

I hear you.

The irony of it... as I see it... is that we, the consumer, want lower prices to help manage our personal Budgets... and one would believe that a trickle down effect would occur as the cost of Transportation and Operation... and Overhead in Companies would be lower.

... And we are told that the 'opposition' party(s) were wrong for allowing Oil Prices to rise... But when we as consumers actually see some relief from the once soaring Oil Costs, we are thrown into a recession and told that the low Oil Prices are a major driving factor.

Stupid may be a harsh word and probably unfair but yes, apparently that is true... at least in this case... The Economy, and the many facets that make it up, is vary intricate and TBH it is foolish to believe that it can be fully understood by anyone but those trained and those who keep up on all the many aspects.

To me... merely a member of the General Population... I find the situation ironic. I'm in no way arguing that what is happening is not expected by the Financial wizards... But I am saying that the Politicians could not care less about educating us... they care about manipulating the facts and using that manipulation to blame the Opposition.

In any case, I find irony in the fact that greatly lowering Oil/Fuel prices that we would hope would be a good thing... is actually one of the driving factors that is causing some Economies to falter. That is all I'm saying.
