Using Pro Sports for the sports? That's what I use. For the most part with hockey you'll only get 720P streams unless you get the XRXS streams working but I've never bothered to put the work in to get that to work myself.

Are you talking Kodi extensions here?

I haven't gone too far past exodus. Tried Phoenix for live sports and was disappointed.

man that thing is expensive. if you catch one on sale you can pretty much get an NUC for the same price that'd blow it away.

The benefit of the shield is that it's classified as an Android TV, not an Android box, so you can stream 4K Netflix.

that being said, a $90 chromecast does the same thing.

The Logitech k400 is pretty sweet. Decent sized track pad attached to a near-full sized keyboard.

If you have a large local movie library the app is a necessity imo. Way quicker to browse through 400+ movies on your phone, and the voice commands are really good.

Looks like you need the new Intel CPU in your NUC for this to be true though. Mine can't do it apparently. I don't have a 4K TV though lol.
