i liked his old man ramblings when berger was a blogger here. spending all your time dwelling on the past when you are under 70 years old is troubling but it was entertaining.

I don't even remember him saying anything that bad at first. He pointed out all the obvious issues with the team and then everyone just got pissed. He then started calling the fans out in a sort of passive aggressive way and it just pissed them off more. I had no problem with him.

Maybe my memory just sucks and he was the worst but that's how I remember it.

It wasn't outright bad, but he was a master at subtly pushing their buttons. It was never anything untrue or unjustified, but he came off just...

I recall Leafs Nation actively circulating a Fire Berger petition.

He called Toronto fans sheep daily, in every blog and acted like he was smarter because he was simply a pessimist. Always acted like he knew everything although all he ever did was point out the sad and obvious.
