i drop it down a couple gears to pass people and it is more fun to hustle it through the gears from a red light.

those are pretty much the only times i use it but my car isn't a performance car so i'm guessing i'm not getting the full experience.

when i was a kid i drove a ton of manual acura integras (actually learned to drive stick in those) and it's so much more fun handling the gears yourself but i can't be bothered owning a manual for daily use.

See, on mine, if the car's computer disagrees with your gear choice, it'll just change it. And it locks out gears too.

i've only used it to engine brake like 5 times probably.

i always feel like it's bad for the car even though i know it's fine.

i'm just driving a sportage so i'm only dealing with a crossover with like 180 hp or something. i'd like to try it in sporty car. even if it's just one of the little hot hatches or something.

i am very interested in a couple of audis that i'm a lottery ticket away from.

the teslas interest me but i'm not ready to count on that technology yet.

kia is apparently building a sporty car off that genesis platform too. i think it's got some ridiculous name like the stinger right now.

maybe i'll look into that if it isn't some crazy price.


of course, i currently have like $2000 to my name so i'm not sure why i'm even starting to look right now.
