I've always had a soft spot(code) for MAF because he played for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles during his junior career and i've watch him since he was 16.

We also went to high school together. I think I saw him there a grand total of one time.

I think I have at one point. He, James Sheppard and Stephen Dixon all attended my high school around that time but were almost never there because they were in the Q and didn't have to/got private tutoring to allow them to play hockey full time.

Actually my pal Matt billeted Fleury and later Pavelec at his house. His Dad is a judge.

Thrilling stuff I know.

i went to school with one kid who seemed to have talent (he had all the cool gear and moved side to side real nice) but he never made it anywhere.

i had to back him up on so many ball hockey teams because he played ice and had great gear and yada yada yada. turns out his parents just had money and he wasn't that talented after all. probably dead now like everyone else i went to high school with.
