How horrible was Wynn? Approval rating is like 17%?

Not that bad, just inherited some scandals from Dalton, and I think people didn't like her personally, rather than in terms of policies. I think the actual things she did polled pretty well.

IMO, people are looking at where they are right now, with rent and housing prices insanely high, gas high, and the general political climate being negative, they see the Liberals have been in power for a while, and they just wanted to try something new. At the end of the day, the majority of Ontarians voted for a left-leaning party, and I doubt the conservatives would have won if the vote wasn't split- there were 33 ridings where the PCs won with a minority of the popular vote.

We really need ranked ballots.

Makes sense and agreed on the last point. I feel Notley may get destroyed next election here just because of misconceptions and rhetoric and it's too bad because she's actually doing a really great job despite the hand she was dealt from 44 years of conservative rule(more percisely the last Con. gov. before the election.)

The economy has the most growth in the country for two years now. She has effectively diversified it beyond being one dimensional but people really hate her guts because of preconceived notions about the NDP and well she's a woman. A Woman who is generally much smarter than her counterparts and constituents.The Oil Sands crowd has a real tough time with that because they really can be big (frank)ing pussies.
