in case he just tells you to "die and go (frank) yourself" i will answer your question from my point of view.

i just fill them with rubbing alcohol and let them sit overnight. let the bowl piece sit in a cup of rubbing alcohol. shake em in the morning and rinse them and they're usually okay.

if your gimmicks are really gunked up buy grunge off.
