im fine with it being implied she was molested or whatevered right under his nose. do we need to know who/what/when? all we need to know is how she turned out, where it lead her, her dad and their family

but he also admitted he didnt even know about the spiral drawing until it was pointed out after the ep aired.

i'd like to discuss.

from a selfish standpoint i do wish we got to see some cult stuff go down beyond just that video..as well as some more backgroun on errol and his preachings... but i dont really mind the loose ends they left because woody and cohle are left to wonder about alot of stuff too, which they address.

really the only thing i guess i think was cheap was the (frank)ing spiral drawing hanging up in woody's house. that was just too much. the sex drawings and the dolls and the 3-way can all be chalked up to a daughter raised by an inattentive father seeking male attention, which is all fine as a red herring. but that spiral drawing crossed the line, imo

the directing in the show is off the charts good. I also love the slow pan away during the biker gang shootout episode.
