What im saying is he got the job based on what he did for the franchise. Its how the NHL works. WHen you retire, if you want, there are jobs available. Its giving back. I for one respect that.....

What if he spoke broken english and never added anyting useful to the telecast and constantly messed up the names of the players and couldn't complete a sentence without getting lost mid sentence.

ok, then there we have it. you cannot separate the two PROFESSIONS from each other. PLAYING hockey and TALKING about hockey are 2 TOTALLY different things. lets just agree to disagree that you are mind numbingly retarded. deal?

I agree about the Jaffe fiasco. As far as a better color guy then butchie. How about somebody who can speak english and pronounce the names correctly and actually does him homework on the team he follows or the team they are playing. That would be a start

Msg does the hiring. The isles have nothing to do with it. Also can't argue the point that putting an ex key player in the booth is a good move. Butch sucks yes but more alumni with his resume should be present in this org.
