Dubinsky is a good player, because he basically has a little bit of everything. But, the Rangers arent a team made up soley on home grown talent. They have the ability to sign the likes of Gaborik and Richards. Yes they drafted Staal, but even I could have said he woulda been a no brainer. Henrik was a 5th rounder and Callahan was a 4th rounder..........neither were ever mentioned or expected to be intergal parts of the Rangers.

You forgot Stepan, anisimov, hagelin, mcdonagh, sauer, girardi, and dubinsky. As far as dubi not being matter then okposo, moulson, grabner, and nielson. They all put in similart stats and by watching them all play are all mediocre talents. Okposo I don't think has had a 20 goal season.

Are you serious? Moulson has back-to-back 30 goal seasons and is on pace for a third. Grabner is a 30-goal scorer. Dubinsky has never eclipsed 25 goals ina season and only broke 20 twice. He only broke 50 points once. He probably won't hit 20 goals or 50 points this year. His numbers are worse than Bailey's.

As for KO, maybe Dubinsky and KO are a push. Nielsen may not put up the numbers offensively that Dubinsky has, but Nielsen is a far superior defensive player and his offensive numbers aren't anemic. Its not a stretch to say that Moulson, Grabner, KO and/or Nielsen are better players than Dubinsky.

Anyone of the Ranger "drafted" players goes down and its no big deal (minus Henrik, Callahan and Staal), which is why i mentioned those three. The other guys you mentioned..........big deal. Anyone of them gets hurt and they can easily be replaced.

Dubs gets more PK time than any Ranger forward. Torts has more faith in him than Callahan and Cally is also a better defensive forward than Nielsen.

Absolutely correct. KO is overrated by Isles' fans, just as I think Dubinsky is by Rangers' fans.
