umm, avery has played in 2 weeks. not try to troll but avery is now a non issue to the ranger fans on this site.

I don't have nearly as much of an issue in regards to WHEN he pulls the goalie, and the philosophy behind that, as I do with the fact that he APPARENTLY pulled the goalie without telling anyone who was farther up the ice at the time. That just might be a problem....

Not trying to argue either but I read quite a few posts from your fellow fans that would make me question that? None the less, you got a good team thats being run properly. Miss that, haven't seen it in about twenty years. God its hard to watch this team for so many different reasons...

Disappointing loss. Moulson continues his consistency along with PA. Terrible game by the Gremlin. Nabokov looks shaky as per usual (good luck to us for a while with him in net). Mottau and Captain Streit continue to be the best players for the opposing team. top it off with being out coached every game and this team has a big problem.

Question what is the purpose of playing Reasoner? He is so bad that he makes Gillies seem like an NHL player.

Rangers are so awesome. Best team in the league and best franchise in the history of hockey. They are so good! Back to reality look at the pay roll of the Rags every year and look at the amount of times they have won the cup. Embarrassing if you ask me. Almost as bad as the knicks

Yeah but they got the mighty Dubinsky and all we have is Bailey. Dubinsky is beast, he would be second best on our team with his whopping two goals this season. A real super star.

ok, thats far from true. the 1st period was all rangers, 2nd was all isllanders and the 3rd was pretty much even.

The fact of it is, the rangers are the better team, it's not a shot at the islanders, it's just true. The islanders have a lot of talent and potential. They just need leadership from within to build around JT and guys like that.

And I think you would all agree Montoya is your number 1 right?

You girls had 26 shots, the Rangers had 25. THe Rangers had more quality chances. The Icelanders were not very good 5 on 5. 2 PP goals.

Nabokov kept you guys in the game. THe Rangers should have or could have had 3 or 4 goals in the 1st period alone....shots wide and save by Nabokov.

Hardly outplayed...hardly a lucky win, but the Rangers will take the compliment that they didn't have to be their best to beat that team from Long Island.

Agreed 100% but to say the rangers are much better is a stretch. This isles team can play and has the talent up front, but now it is time to build the back, starting in goal. The team needs a new coach ASAP as well. I like Jack but he is not a good coach.

they also need another scoring line. the PTM line is good and hopefully with grabner as another solid option. Nino should be the other scoring winger and strome should be nice in between them. but the do need another threat in the present time.
