If I was the GM and it's true, I would applaud him for standing up. - MJL
Ummm, isn't the GM kinda responsible for creating/ensuring there is a winning mentality around the team? |

I really thought he had promise when he first came on the beat. But it sure seems like he is under the influence of the more senior writer on the beat. I've seen some real unprofessional stuff coming out on players, in reports from the "Insider"

The Habs only made it deep in the playoffs because of Halak and Price.
For the last few seasons they have been a very lucky team imo. They lack in grit and the D-men are questionable. I find it hilarious they choose to re-sign Markov.
I always hate the habs, but I used to respect them. They desperately need an overhaul.
Whenever you really count on guys like Kostitsyn to help carry you there are issues.

I dont fully believe that but maybe Bryz is a bit more than the Flyers realized. I take things that servalli says with a grain of salt |

When it comes to Seravalli, I take what he says with one of these.

Yup. The players that he decides should be on the team. I wouldn't think any GM would ever want one of his players coming out and saying the team had a losing mentality.
From watching the latest Cammalleri clip it sounds like he's just frustrated with Cunneyworth's "simple" style of game plan. |

The problem is that there are too many morons out there who watch DNL and listen to WIP who will take this as gospel and continue to feed the controversy. Now it is "fact" to many people.
Joy.

Never been to philly but I wont lie, even for an outsider, the media seems rediculous. Looking back at how the carter/richards era was handled to Bryzgalov now.
It just looks like a bunch of paparazi guys who you would expect to see writing for tabloid magazines. I would have a hard enough time giving these retards access to talk to players if I was Flyers management. |

I can't see any scenario where a GM would endorse one of his players saying that. At least not publicly. |
