I'm just surprised that anyone has issues with PAP right now. He's really rounded out his game IMO. He even gets in opponents faces once in awhile. I'm pleased with his play. He's come a long way since his 1st season with us.

While I do like PAP a lot, I really don't think he compares to Okposo. That being said, I'm a big KO fan.

Fun fact that howie and butch pointed out. Should Moulson hit the 30 goal plateau again, he will be the 1st Islander since ziggy palffy to score at least 30 goals in 3 consecutive seasons. Yeah since ziggy (frank)ing palffy. It's been that long.

But fact that Nabby came in and played his best game of season he deserves the green light for Thursday.

Only fear is his trade value is max right now. A bad night vs Philly could send us back to square one.


That said, Last night was best 60 mins of hockey of the season. Not sure what Cappy did last night vs other night, but this team came to play. Tavares and KO goals were pure SNIPES.

You just answered your own question as to why they won. They came to play which they haven't done more often than not this season and last, and the one before that and so on. Capuano had nothing to do with it unless he suddemly grew a pair of balls and kicked his team in the ass?

What he is doing to Nino is absurd and would not know how to balance a goaltender rotation if his life depended on it. KO is an islanders. Bailey, Hamonic and KO are 3 isles players with most upside still on this team.

Nino should not be on this team. playing on 4th line is just stupid. Rushing him to NHL like they did Bailey and they going to rush Strome next year as well.
